Emergency Department RN — Weatherford, TX
Nights | 13-Week Contract
This Emergency Department position offers night shift coverage (7 PM – 7 AM) with guaranteed 36 hours per week and an every-other-weekend requirement. The contract runs 13 weeks with a start date of late September 2026.
The Unit
The ED is an all-RN nursing team supported by lobby techs and a unit secretary. The department manages a broad scope of emergency cases, including stroke response, chest pain/STEMI activations (PCI available 24/7), and trauma presentations. Floating may be required as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
Preferred Experience
Dress Code
- Scrubs: Royal Blue
- No artificial, gel, or next-gen nails; natural nails only
- Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder-length or longer; no extreme styles or colors
- Visible piercings limited to ears only
- Tattoos should be covered when feasible
- Shoes must be non-absorbent with slip-resistant soles; breathable mesh athletic shoes are not permitted
