About the Unit
This NICU provides specialized care for premature and medically complex newborns. The unit maintains a high average daily census and supports a robust team of attending physicians dedicated to neonatal care. Nurses in this role will manage high-acuity patients, including premature infants requiring intensive monitoring and intervention.
Requirements
- Active RN license (Texas or compact)
- Active driver's license required at time of submission
- Must reside 100+ miles from the facility
- Required certifications prior to start:
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Preferred: RNC certification (Neonatal Nursing)
