RN – Medical/Surgical/Telemetry

Night shift, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

13-week contract

About the Role

Join the facility's medical/surgical/telemetry unit as a night RN. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced setting, managing post-operative and acute medical patients on continuous cardiac monitoring. This role requires strong assessment skills, ECG rhythm interpretation, and the ability to work independently during night hours.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months permanent experience in medical/surgical or telemetry nursing
• Active the facility nursing license or current compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in your specialty (required for submission; co-worker references not accepted)

Onboarding

You'll complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation. Passing scores on both are required. You have two attempts to pass; failure to pass will result in contract cancellation.

Compliance

• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Background check and BCI/FBI fingerprinting required within 48 hours of contract signing
• No open legal cases or license hits accepted

Extension Options

You may extend up to 18 months; a 6-month break follows unless the facility approves otherwise.
