Med/Surg Tele RN – 18-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for an 18-week winter coverage assignment. You'll provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit with potential to float to related units caring for the same patient population.

Shift & Schedule

• Rotating 3x12-hour shifts (Night: 19:00–07:30 | Day: 07:00–19:30)
• Shifts may rotate as needed to meet operational demands; the facility will make every effort to honor your preferred schedule
• Must work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Current Permanent Ohio license or compact state license (in hand at submission)
• Minimum 12 months permanent experience in medical-surgical nursing
• Active certifications: BLS (American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director (from past 12 months)
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (two attempts maximum)

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of recent oncology or chemotherapy administration experience
• Experienced oncology nurses encouraged to apply; training provided for qualified candidates

• Contract length: 13–18 weeks (flexible)
• Start date: October 5, 2026
• Background checks reviewed; no open cases or license hits accepted
• Pre-start modules required (average 6–15 hours)
