RN Circulator – Cardiothoracic Operating Room
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
About the Role
The facility's cardiothoracic operating room is seeking an experienced RN Circulator with extensive CVOR expertise. You'll manage complex cardiac and thoracic surgical cases in a high-volume, efficient surgical environment where cases include CABG, valve replacement, VAD insertions, TAVR, VATS, lobectomy, pacemaker/AICD insertions, septal myectomy, Ross procedure, EVH, IABP insertions, femoral cannulation, and circulatory arrest procedures.
What You'll Need
- Required: Active RN license and BLS certification
- Essential: Extensive, proven experience as an RN Circulator in cardiothoracic surgery
- Preferred: Advanced scrub and first-assist skills
Unit Details
- 6 operating rooms
- Team includes charge nurse, unit secretary, PCA, and core tech
- On-call shifts assigned on a rotating basis
- Infrequent floating to other areas as needed
- Hospital-provided scrubs; surgical attire policy applies
Position Requirements
This is not a training role. The surgical program is recognized for exceptional outcomes and operational efficiency. Experience and readiness are essential.
