Cath Lab Technician
Location: Pearland, TX
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Contract Duration: 84 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
About the Role
The facility's cath lab is a busy interventional suite performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You'll support a team of 8 FTE across day and night shifts, working in a relaxed, collaborative environment.
Clinical Scope
You'll assist with a diverse range of procedures including:
- Diagnostic catheterizations (left and right heart)
- Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and angioplasty
- Stent placement and atherectomy
- Hemodynamic support devices (Impella, IABP)
- Device implantation (pacemakers, ICDs)
- Electrophysiology studies
- Peripheral angiography and thrombectomy
- Select interventional radiology cases
Requirements
- 2+ years of cath lab experience (required)
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Ability to take call
- Comfortable floating to IR as needed
Schedule & Expectations
- One week of call per month
- Navy scrubs provided
- 36 guaranteed hours weekly over 84 weeks
