Labor & Delivery — Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week contract on the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This is a full-time role with guaranteed 36-hour weeks.
Unit Description
You'll work in a busy L&D unit managing labor, delivery, and perioperative obstetric care. The unit includes labor beds, , OR suites, and recovery areas. You'll care for patients throughout the perinatal continuum, from admission through delivery and immediate postpartum recovery.
Patient Care & Ratios
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- BLS and ACLS certification
- IEFM (Intrapartum Fetal Heart Monitoring) competency
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- RNC-OB (Registered Nurse Certified – Obstetrics)
- Advanced EFM skills
Unit Details
- Dress code: Royal blue scrubs
- Equipment: Electronic fetal monitors with tocometry, ultrasound, standard monitoring devices
- An experienced, stable team with strong unit culture
