Electrophysiology Technician
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Electrophysiology Technician to join its EP department. This is a 13-week contract role supporting high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Schedule & Location
- Shift: Day shifts, 4 × 10-hour days (0630a start)
- Days: Monday–Friday with rotating days off
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Location: Des Moines, IA
- Start Date: November 2, 2026
- Orientation Dates: October 5, 19, November 2, 16
- Travel Requirement: You must reside at least 50 miles from the facility and will float across Des Moines campuses to support like units as needed.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 12 months of Electrophysiology (EP) experience required; 24 months preferred
- Certifications:
- ARRT (required)
- RCIS or RCES (preferred)
- Skills: Stim experience required; Cardiac Cath lab experience preferred
- Documentation: Current driver's license, work history reflecting 24 months of EP/Cardiac Cath experience, discipline-specific skills checklist, and professional references from supervisor/manager (within 24 months)

- No call or weekend requirements
- Holiday work: You are required to work 1–2 of 3 upcoming holidays (unless the unit is closed)
- Travel experience is highly preferred
