ICU Travel Nurse — Night Shift | Bridgeport, WV

Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights, weekends as scheduled) | Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

This critical care position places you in a single, consolidated ICU managing a diverse, high-acuity patient population. Expect a dynamic mix that includes:

• COVID-positive patients (approximately 30–50% of the census)
• Cardiac patients, including post-angioplasty care
• Medical-surgical ICU cases such as diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, and patients recovering from complex abdominal or bowel surgery

Floating outside the ICU is extremely rare and not an anticipated expectation of this role.

Shift & Scheduling Flexibility

• Block scheduling considered
• 36/48 or 48-hour contract options available
• Contracts shorter than 16 weeks may be considered

Cancellation Policy: 2 shifts per contract period

Requirements

• Active RN license (willing to wait for submission)
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• BSN not required
• Prior COVID patient care experience strongly preferred
• Candidates without prior electronic charting experience in a comparable system will be considered
• No artificial nails permitted
• Must reside or arrange housing within 50 miles of the facility
