Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist
Position Overview
Join a high-functioning cardiac catheterization lab team in Thornton, CO. This 13-week contract offers day-shift work (6:45 AM – 4:15 PM) in a collaborative environment with engaged physicians and a supportive clinical culture.
The Role
You'll support a range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a lab with 3 holding bays and 2 cath suites. Your responsibilities include patient monitoring, equipment preparation, fluoroscopy assistance, and procedural support across:
- Left and right heart catheterizations
- Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
- Peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Pacemaker and ICD placements
- Cardioversions, transesophageal echocardiograms, and stress testing
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital cath lab experience
- BLS certification
- ARRT (R) and either RCIS or RCES certification
- Willingness to apply for Colorado Fluoroscopy Operator registration with DORA before start
- Must live within 30 minutes of the facility
On-Call & Schedule
On-call responsibilities are divided evenly through a 4-week rotation (typically 8–12 days). You may be scheduled for one weekend during your 4-week block.
Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT (CI) or (CV)
- Holding and monitoring experience
