Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Atlanta, GA

Night Shift | 13-Week Contract

This inpatient admission unit focuses on general medical and surgical patients awaiting or recovering from procedures. The unit operates at a fast pace, with patient turnover significantly higher than a traditional med/surg floor — ideal for nurses who thrive in a high-volume, dynamic environment.

Shift Details

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12)
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Clinical Scope

• Rapid admissions unit serving general medical and pre/post-surgical patients
• Telemetry monitoring with an active, rotating patient census

• Independent practice with strong communication skills essential

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
• BLS and ACLS certification (cards required)
• Nursys license verification
• Resume/work history with no gaps greater than 60 days
• Skills checklist and professional references

Holiday Coverage

Travelers are expected to work either Thanksgiving Day or the day after Thanksgiving, and either Christmas Eve/Christmas Day or New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.
