About the Unit
This Medical-Surgical unit cares for adult patients presenting with a range of general medicine diagnoses, including ia, UTI, altered mental status, GI bleed, alcohol withdrawal, and fall-related injuries. The unit is supported by dedicated patient care techs, a central telemetry monitoring team, and respiratory therapy staff who manage all breathing equipment and treatments — RNs are responsible for monitoring only.
Clinical Expectations

- No independent strip interpretation required — a monitor tech manages telemetry for the unit
