Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist
Position Overview
The facility's cardiac catheterization lab is seeking an experienced technologist to support a high-volume interventional cardiology program. You'll work in a fast-paced environment performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Shift & Schedule
- 10-hour day shift (10x4)
- Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–5:15 PM
- 13-week contract
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
Clinical Scope
You'll assist with a full range of cardiac procedures, including:
- Left and right heart catheterizations
- High-risk percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
- Pacemaker insertion
- Structural heart procedures
- ECMO and EKOS support
- Peripheral interventions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in cardiac catheterization
- Demonstrated experience with structural heart and ECMO procedures
- ARRT or RCIS certification
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Associate degree in health science or completion of an accredited cardiovascular technology or radiography program
- 2–4 years of interventional/diagnostic experience in a cath lab setting
