OR Surgical Technologist – Endo/Vascular
Position Overview
The facility's operating room is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with endo/vascular expertise for a fast-paced surgical environment. You'll work in an acute care setting managing 30–45 patients daily across 11 major and 2 minor operating rooms.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week
- Rotating weekday and weekend call
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Clinical Scope
Your primary focus will be endo/vascular procedures, with additional exposure to:
- General surgery
- C-sections
- Orthopedics (limited)
- ENT
- OB/GYN
- Minor cases (lumps/bumps)
You'll work in a well-supported environment with 2 surgical techs per room and sometimes an additional RN, ensuring manageable workflows.
Requirements
- Endo/vascular surgical technologist experience required
- Current surgical technologist license or certification eligible for state reciprocity
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Valid, unexpired driver's license (required at submission)
- Background check clearance (disclose any hits at time of application)
Contract Terms
- The facility may cancel up to 1 shift during this 13-week assignment
