Certified Surgical Technologist – Operating Room

Position Overview

The facility's surgical services department is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join a multi-specialty operating room team. This is a 13-week contract position with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Shift Schedule

Variable shifts available:

• Call requirements: 12- or 24-hour shifts on weekends and holidays
• Rotating weekends and call required

Clinical Scope

You'll scrub cases across multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, gynecology, plastics, neurosurgery, robotics, podiatry, and dental procedures. The role requires proficiency in general surgical techniques and preference will be given to candidates with experience in orthopedics, trauma, neurosurgery, and robotics (Da Vinci and Mako platforms).

Requirements

• 2+ years of hospital-based surgical experience
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• New Hampshire Medical Technologist License
• Friendly, professional, self-motivated approach

• No floating to other units
• Hospital-supplied scrubs
