Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Derry, NH | Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 13-Week Contract

A Progressive Care Unit in Derry, NH is seeking an experienced travel RN for night shift coverage. This unit manages intermediate-acuity patients requiring close cardiac monitoring and hemodynamic management, including patients on critical drips and those undergoing pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three shifts per week
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience in a hospital setting
• Active Compact RN license at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS required
• Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills
• Critical drip experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Pre- and post-cardiac catheterization patient care experience
• Pacer patient care experience

Float Expectations

Travel RNs may float to Med/Surg, ICU (border patients), or the Emergency Department (ED holds) as staffing needs dictate.

Self-directed and confident, with strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented approach to high-pressure situations.

Dress Code

Professional scrubs; no required color.
