Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Derry, NH | Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 13-Week Contract

This night-shift PCU travel position is ideal for a confident, self-directed RN with strong cardiac skills and a collaborative approach to patient care.

The Unit

The PCU is a step-down environment managing moderate-to-high acuity cardiac and medical patients. The unit operates with a structured nursing team and adjusts staffing with census volume. Float coverage may be requested to Med/Surg, ICU (for border patients), or the Emergency Department (for ED holds).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience in a hospital setting
• Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills
• Critical drip management experience
• Active Compact RN license at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Preferred Skills

• Pre- and post-cardiac catheterization patient care
• Pacemaker patient care experience

Schedule & Expectations

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Weekend commitment: Every other weekend, or equivalent based on staffing needs
• Dress code: Professional scrubs — no required color
