Emergency Department RN — Night Shift | Derry, NH

This 13-week contract (with potential for extension) places you in an active Emergency Department on a 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM schedule, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Weekend and holiday rotation is required. Nurses on this unit do not typically float to other areas.

The Unit

The ED manages a broad range of acute and emergent presentations, supported by ED Techs, AMETs, and Paramedics. You'll work alongside a well-staffed team in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on patient communication and family-centered care.

Clinical Scope — Procedures Performed:

• Moderate sedation
• Central line placement
• Chest tube placement
• IV insertion and lab draws
• Point-of-care testing
• EKGs
• Respiratory treatments

Required Certifications:

• BLS, ACLS
• PALS or ENPC
• CPI (must obtain within 30 days of start)

Preferred:

• TNCC

Experience Required:

Minimum 2–3 years of ED nursing experience. Candidates must have hands-on experience with the procedures listed above.
