Location: Tulsa, OK
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (5/8's)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
About the Role
You'll work in a high-volume surgical environment supporting orthopedic trauma, neurosurgery, and robotic-assisted procedures across multiple specialties, including head and neck surgery. This is a hands-on surgical technologist position requiring strong technical skills and the ability to thrive in a demanding OR setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile operating rooms and surgical fields
- Handle and organize surgical instruments during procedures
- Assist surgeons with instrument passing, tissue retraction, and procedural support
- Manage pre-operative patient preparation and equipment setup
- Perform post-operative duties, including dressing application and specimen handling
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile protocol and Standard Precautions
- Work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating critical thinking and sound judgment
Required Qualifications
- Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification
- Valid state license verification
- On-call availability required
- Ability to work holidays as scheduled
Required Health Documentation
MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza vaccine, Hepatitis B, 2-step PPD or IGRA, fit testing, and health statement. Background check and drug screening will be conducted.
What We're Looking For
Experienced surgical technologists comfortable in fast-paced OR environments. Knowledge of robotic platforms and trauma surgery is a plus.
