Oncology RN — Inpatient/Outpatient | Fremont, OH | 13-Week Contract

This oncology unit cares for adult and geriatric patients across a broad spectrum of diagnoses, including breast, bowel, bladder, brain, lung, gynecologic, head and neck, prostate, pancreatic cancers, lymphomas, multiple myelomas, and chronic leukemias, as well as non-oncologic conditions such as MDS, MS, Crohn's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and chronic anemia.

Shift & Schedule

  • Days, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00–16:30)
  • Contract duration: 13 weeks

Clinical Responsibilities

  • IV chemotherapy administration, including bladder installations
  • Implanted port access and care; PICC line care; central line blood draws
  • Peripheral IV insertion; foley catheter insertion and management
  • SQ/IM injections; blood product administration
  • Chemotherapy monitoring and recognition/communication of abnormal lab values
  • Patient and family education and psychosocial support; care coordination

Required Certifications & Experience

  • Active RN license (Michigan license required in hand; Ohio pending acceptable)
  • BLS and ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
  • Inpatient or outpatient oncology background accepted
  • Electronic charting experience required
  • Locals within 50 miles not accepted
