Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Unit

Location: Morrisville, VT

Shift: 3 × 12-hour rotating nights

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

The facility's medical-surgical unit is seeking an RN to deliver compassionate, age-specific patient care. You'll apply the Nursing Process within established standards of care, manage a patient assignment, and assume leadership responsibilities including delegation to team members.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care across the medical-surgical patient population
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in day-to-day care delivery
• Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff
• Maintain compliance with State and Federal regulations governing nursing practice

Required Qualifications & Certifications:

• Valid RN license (Vermont)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) – must be active *before* contract start
• De-escalation training required before or during Clinical Orientation
• If certifications are not current, you must have a course booked by the time orientation begins

What to Expect:

Night shift rotation on a 3 × 12 schedule. Guaranteed 36 hours per week throughout your 13-week assignment. This is a straightforward medical-surgical nursing role in a community-based setting.
