Cath Lab RN — Travel Contract | Santa Rosa, CA

Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (5x8-hour days)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Start Date: October 5, 2026

This travel RN opportunity is in a procedurally rich cardiac catheterization and interventional lab serving adult and geriatric patients. The unit operates a high-volume schedule across three procedure rooms with full interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, radiology, and rapid response teams.

Clinical Scope includes:

  • Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations (left and right heart)
  • Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), TAVR, Watchman, and LAA closure procedures
  • Pacemaker insertion and lead extraction, IABP and Impella support
  • Carotid and renal artery stenting, vascular closure, and endovascular interventions
  • Interventional radiology procedures: TIPS, embolizations, nephrostomy, gastrostomy tube placement
  • Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
  • Scrub and circulator roles

On-Call Requirements:

  • Weekday call shifts: 4:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Weekend call: Every 6th weekend, Friday 4:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
  • 3 weekend shifts per 2-week period

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience
  • ACLS and BLS required
  • Compact RN license required and must be in hand at submission
  • Previous charge experience preferred; 5 years preferred overall
  • Must commit to 3 of 5 winter holidays

Float: Travelers may be asked to float to nearby sister facilities; refusal may affect guaranteed hours.

Orientation: 40 hours
