Radiology Technologist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform and process radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging studies in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule & Duration

  • 8-hour day shift, Monday–Friday
  • Flexible start time between 6:15 AM and 7:00 AM
  • 8-week contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform radiological tests, including portable and fluoroscopic procedures, with appropriate skill and efficiency
  • Operate imaging equipment and transfer images to the PACS system
  • Document tests and procedures electronically
  • Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and support during imaging
  • Perform ancillary duties including EKGs, pregnancy tests, and case cart preparation
  • Monitor radiology supplies and equipment; maintain equipment logs and report malfunctions
  • Coordinate with the Clinical Supervisor and OR schedule to provide imaging coverage as needed
  • Maintain aseptic technique during intraoperative and surgical procedures
  • Uphold confidentiality and patient privacy standards

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program
  • Current Radiology Technologist certification
  • Experience as a radiology technician
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association standards)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Physical ability to lift, move, and position patients and equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
