Shift: 15:00–03:00 | 4 x 12 Nights

Contract Duration: 13 weeks (with potential for extension)

Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours available

About the Unit

This fast-paced Emergency Department in Independence, MO manages a high volume of acute and emergent patients across a busy floor setting. The unit operates around the clock with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, Advanced Paramedics, Emergency Department Technicians, Mental Health Support staff, and support personnel on both day and night shifts.

Clinical Scope & Procedures

• IV starts and phlebotomy
• Cardiac monitoring and interpretation
• High-acuity, high-volume emergency presentations

Required Certifications

• *RN:* BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI
• *Medic:* BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI
• *All staff:* BLS, CPI

Preferred Experience

• Previous high-pressure clinical environment
• Background as an RN, Paramedic, or allied health technician

Dress Code

• RN/Medic: Gray scrub top, black or gray scrub bottoms
• EDT/Secretary: Caribbean blue scrub top, Caribbean blue or black scrub bottoms
• Appropriate colored T-shirts permitted under a nursing scrub jacket or facility-approved jacket
