Certified Surgical Technologist – Operating Room

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. You will provide direct surgical support across multiple specialties, maintaining sterile technique, managing instruments and equipment, and coordinating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Shift & Schedule

  • Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Clinical Scope

You'll work in a fast-paced OR environment supporting procedures in:

  • Orthopedic surgery
  • Neurosurgery
  • Robotic-assisted surgery across multiple specialties
  • ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat)

This role demands strong technical skills, critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic, high-acuity environment.

Required Qualifications

  • NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist
  • Current surgical tech license (verification required)
  • Strong experience in orthopedic and neurosurgical cases
  • Demonstrated proficiency with robotic surgical systems
  • Ability to thrive in a stressful, fast-paced OR setting

Onboarding Requirements

Standard health screenings and verifications apply, including MMR, Tdap, Hepatitis B, Varicella, TB testing, fit testing, background check, and drug screening.
