CVOR Circulator – Cardiac, Thoracic & Vascular Surgery
The Role
Join a high-volume surgical service providing interventions across routine and complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. You'll work as an independent circulator in a fast-paced OR environment where your expertise is essential from day one.
Clinical Scope
Cardiac procedures: Coronary artery bypass, valve repair/replacement, aortic dissection, heart transplantation, ventricular assist device placement, impella and intra-aortic balloon pump support, adult ECMO, and TAVR in the endovascular suite.
Thoracic cases: Laparoscopic, robot-assisted, and open procedures.
Vascular procedures: ESRD graft and fistula placement/revision, and endovascular interventions.
The service operates 4–6 ORs (including a dedicated endovascular suite) with capacity for four concurrent cardiopulmonary bypass procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years recent full-time CVOR circulator experience in a high-volume setting
- Demonstrated proficiency across all cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures
- Ability to function independently without extensive onboarding
- Two verifiable references from prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed
Schedule
- Three 12-hour shifts: Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday (Monday or Tuesday, based on department need)
- Shift times: 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
- Call schedule participation is voluntary
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Start date: October 4, 2026
