Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry nurse for a 12-week contract assignment. You'll work nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a 3x12 schedule, with every other weekend and every other holiday rotation.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg Telemetry experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- Valid MA RN License and BLS certification (ARC or AHA)
- Strong telemetry and neuro skills essential
- System familiarity required
Role Details
You'll manage telemetry monitoring and care for medical-surgical patients with an emphasis on cardiac and neurological cases. Float opportunities to similar units may occur. A telemetry competency assessment will be administered on your first day of orientation.
Schedule & Hours
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 3 shifts of 12 hours each
- Every other weekend rotation
- Every other holiday rotation
- 13-week contract
