Cardiac Catheterization Technologist
Position Overview
The facility's Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to perform hemodynamic monitoring, imaging operations, and ambulatory monitoring under the direction of a cardiologist. You will work independently at a level requiring minimal supervision.
Shift & Schedule
- 4 x 10-hour days: 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- No set day off
- Evening and weekend call: Available for emergency procedures in the Cath Lab
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience
- Hands-on experience with Impella, telemetry, and IABP
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
- Must pass telemetry competency exam on Day 1 with 85% or higher
- MA RT(R) License
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- RCIS preferred
- Interventional Radiology experience a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac catheterizations and hemodynamic monitoring
- Maintain diagnostic imaging quality and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Conduct daily calibration and maintenance of imaging equipment
- Prepare patients for invasive cardiology procedures
- Complete procedure documentation and billing forms
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all hospital policies
- Pursue continuing education to maintain clinical proficiency
