NICU RN – Night Shift
Position Details
- Department: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM, 12-hour shifts
- Schedule: 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week period
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Location: Syracuse, NY
- Start Date: September 8, 2026
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 2 years of NICU RN experience
- Level IV NICU experience required
- Proficiency with EMR charting systems
The Role
Care for critically ill and premature neonates in a high-acuity NICU environment. You'll provide comprehensive nursing care including ventilator management, line placements, medication administration, and family education. This role offers the opportunity to work with an experienced team and make a direct impact on vulnerable patients during critical stages of care.
What We're Looking For
An experienced NICU nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, complex setting. You're detail-oriented, compassionate, and comfortable managing multiple patients with varying acuity levels. Night shift experience is preferred.
