Adult Medical/Surgical Nurse – Orthopedics & Neurology
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its Adult Medical/Surgical unit, which cares for orthopedic and neurological patients. This is a day shift role offering stability and clinical variety in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
Clinical Focus
You'll provide direct patient care to adults recovering from orthopedic procedures (joint replacements, fracture repairs, spinal surgeries) and neurological conditions (stroke, spinal cord injury, post-cranial procedures). The unit manages moderate to high-acuity patients requiring skilled assessment, post-operative monitoring, pain management, and mobility support.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Oklahoma)
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Orthopedic and/or neuro nursing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
