Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Registered Nurse
Position Overview
Join the ICU nursing team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll deliver direct patient care to acutely ill individuals, working alongside experienced clinicians committed to excellent outcomes.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, evaluate, and educate ICU patients
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms independently
- Communicate with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families
- Coordinate and delegate care activities appropriately
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records
- Support quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of RN ICU experience
- Telemetry experience with ability to independently read and interpret rhythm strips
- Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN, or BSN (BSN preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Physical ability to perform job duties
Required Certifications & Licenses
- Current MA RN License
- BLS
- ACLS
- Telemetry competency assessment on day 1
