Neonatal ICU RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility's Neonatal ICU is seeking an experienced RN for night shift coverage. You'll provide direct care to critically ill and post-operative neonates in a Level III setting, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support vulnerable patients and their families.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract
• Start date: October 5, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months recent Neonatal Level III experience
• Current RN license (Ohio or Compact State)
• Active BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• One professional reference (manager, supervisor, or director) from an assignment within the past 12 months
• Negative 10-panel drug screen (within 12 months of start)
• Background check clearance
• Available to complete required orientation assessments: ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluation

What to Know

• All requests for time off must be discussed and finalized during the interview process
• Annual hands-on competency modules required for continuous or returning contracts
• Contract may be extended up to 18 months; a 6-month break follows (subject to facility discretion)
• BCI/FBI clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
