PACU/Pre-op/Recovery Nurse – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a PACU/Pre-op/Recovery Nurse to join a busy perioperative unit that also supports the GI lab. You'll care for post-operative and pre-operative patients, including those recovering from ICU-level procedures, in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Schedule & Requirements

• Shift: 4 x 10-hour days per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours weekly
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Call Requirement: Yes
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 28, 2026

Required Credentials

• Current RN license (active)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• BSN not required

Unit Details

You'll work in a dynamic perioperative environment managing post-operative patients, including those transitioning from ICU care. The facility operates 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy support, and maintains full telemetry monitoring capabilities. Navy scrubs required.

Important Notes

• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
• Float opportunities available
• On-call responsibilities expected
