NICU RN – Weekend Block Nights
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced NICU RN for a 13-week contract working night shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (12-hour blocks).
Clinical Scope
You'll provide high-acuity care in a Level IV surgical NICU, managing complex neonatal cases including congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH), meconium aspiration syndrome (MAS), necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), tracheoesophageal fistula/esophageal atresia (TEF/EA), abdominal wall defects, bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), pulmonary hypertension, and pre- and post-operative patients.
Requirements
- Current RN license
- Level IV/surgical NICU experience required
- PALS certification required
- NRP certification preferred
- Ability to float to other units as needed
- Willingness to work at least one holiday if it falls during the contract period
Facility Policies
- Nicotine-free facility; drug screening and nicotine testing required
- Flu vaccine required (no religious or medical exemptions)
