Med/Surg-Tele RN | Atlanta, GA | 13-Week Contract
This rapid admission unit focuses on general medical patients and pre-surgical patients awaiting procedures. Due to the admission-focused model, patient turnover is faster than a traditional med/surg floor, making this an ideal placement for nurses who thrive in a high-paced environment and can work with efficiency and independence.
Shift Details
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 3×12
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Start date: November 16, 2026
Clinical Scope
- General medical and pre-surgical patient populations
- High patient throughput; rapid admission and turnover cycle
- Strong communication and independent clinical decision-making required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg-Tele experience
- Active RN license (Nursys verification required)
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Complete skills checklist, professional references, and resume with no employment gaps greater than 60 days
- Badge-appropriate photo required for profile
Holiday Coverage
Travelers are required to work either Thanksgiving Day or the day after Thanksgiving, and either Christmas Eve/Christmas Day or New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.
