Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Atlanta, GA

Day Shift | 13-Week Contract

This rapid admission unit specializes in general medical and surgical patients awaiting procedures. The pace is faster than a traditional med/surg floor — patient census turns over quickly, making strong time management and the ability to work independently essential.

Shift Details

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Guaranteed 36 hours weekly
• Start date: November 16, 2026

Clinical Scope

• General medical and pre-surgical patient population
• High-volume admissions with rapid patient turnover
• Telemetry monitoring integrated into daily practice

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
• Active RN license (Nursys verification required)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Resume/work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days
• Skills checklist and professional references
• Badge-appropriate photo included in candidate profile

Holiday Coverage

Travelers are required to work either Thanksgiving Day or the day after Thanksgiving, plus either Christmas Eve/Christmas Day or New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.

Strong communicators who thrive in a fast-moving environment and can manage patient care independently will be well-suited for this assignment.
