Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Atlanta, GA

Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Contract | 36 Hours Guaranteed/Week

This rapid admission unit focuses on general medical and surgical patients awaiting procedures. Because patient volume turns over faster than a traditional med/surg floor, candidates should be comfortable managing a high-paced admission workflow and shifting priorities quickly.

Unit Overview

• Rapid-admission, general med/surg and pre-surgical patient population
• High patient throughput — expect a faster turnover than a standard med/surg unit
• Requires strong independent clinical judgment and clear communication skills

Schedule & Contract Details

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts (3x/week)
• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 36/week
• Start date: November 16, 2026
• Holiday coverage is mandatory: travelers must work either Thanksgiving Day or the day after, and either Christmas Eve/Christmas Day or New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Required Certifications & Qualifications

• Active RN license (Nursys verification required)
• BLS and ACLS — current and required at start
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Resume with no employment gaps greater than 60 days
• Skills checklist, professional references, and certification cards required at submission
