Night Shift RN – Medical-Surgical Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its medical-surgical telemetry unit. You'll provide direct patient care on the night shift in a fast-paced, monitored care environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-hour nights
- Hours: 36 hours per week (every other weekend and every other holiday)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 20, 2026
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN License
- BLS certification (ARC or AHA)
- Minimum 3 years of medical-surgical and telemetry experience
- Telemetry monitoring experience
- Charting system proficiency required
- 2024/2025 flu vaccine required prior to start date
- Travel nursing experience required
What to Expect
You'll monitor patients via telemetry, manage acute and post-operative med-surg patients, and respond to cardiac rhythm changes and clinical changes. A telemetry competency test will be administered on your first day of orientation.
