Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Greensboro, NC
Contract: 26 weeks (no 13-week option; must commit to full term if offered)
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12s | Every other weekend | Holiday rotation
Start Date: October 5, 2026
About the Role
This telemetry-capable Med/Surg unit primarily serves an adult and geriatric medical/surgical population. All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (two attempts permitted), regardless of specialty background.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Blood product administration and peripheral line care/management
- IV initiation and maintenance; Heparin, Insulin, and PCA drip management
- Nasal cannula oxygen therapy and isolation precautions/PPE
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG monitoring
- Collaboration with Rapid Response teams
- Wound care, feeding tube management, and surgical drain care (as needed)
- Charge RN shifts required on an as-needed basis
Float: Travelers may be floated to any facility campus as needed.
Requirements
- Active RN license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including prior Charge RN experience
- Travel nursing experience required
- BLS and NIHSS certifications required
- EKG/dysrhythmia interpretation competency
- No local candidates within 50-mile radius; valid driver's license required for address verification
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- No open background check cases permitted
- Requested time off must be submitted with application; no post-submission RTO accepted
