Emergency Department RN — Cleveland, OH

Nights | 13-Week Contract

This position supports a busy Emergency Department caring for both pediatric (infant) and adult patients, including ED holds/boarding patients. The role demands strong critical thinking skills and the ability to manage high-acuity cases in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• Start date: October 5, 2026

Clinical Scope

• Full-spectrum emergency care across infant and adult populations
• Management of boarding/hold patients pending inpatient placement
• High-acuity, fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Current, active Ohio RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS — American Heart Association only; no exceptions
• Prior Emergency Department experience

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN
• TNCC certification

Dress Code

• Scrub color not specified; confirm at time of offer

This is a 13-week night-shift contract well suited for an experienced ED nurse comfortable working autonomously with a diverse, high-acuity patient population across all age groups. Ohio licensure must be active prior to start — no exceptions will be made on certification sources.
