Telemetry RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract on the night shift. You'll provide care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, reading strips and responding to arrhythmias in a fast-paced environment.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- 72 hours guaranteed biweekly
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Respond to patient changes and alerts
- Float to other units as needed
- Contribute to a collaborative nursing team
Requirements
- Massachusetts RN license
- 2+ years telemetry experience
- 1 year previous travel nursing experience
- ACLS, BLS (AHA), and TNCC certifications
- PALS or ENPC (Equivalency)
- Ability to read cardiac strips
- Minimum 6-month separation from previous employment (permanent, per diem, or contract role)
Important Notes
- A telemetry competency test will be administered on your first day (pass/fail). Study materials will be provided at assignment confirmation. Failure may result in assignment termination.
- Flu vaccine required during onboarding; declinations not accepted.
- Biweekly orientation included.
