RN – Intermediate Medical Care (IMC), Nights
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role
Join the facility's intermediate medical care unit as a full-time RN. You'll provide routine and complex nursing care to assigned patients, practicing independently while developing your ability to manage clinical contingencies. This role requires you to balance direct patient care with effective delegation and assignment of tasks to support clinical operations.
Your Responsibilities
- Apply the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for effectiveness and side effects
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
- Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers
- Support clinical contingency management and patient flow
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in Texas or compact state
- BLS certification (AHA)
- ACLS certification (AHA)
- 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Onboarding
All new hires complete orientation within the first 30 days, including preceptorship with a trained staff member and competency validation. Annual competency verification is required.
