Medical/Surgical Nurse – Orthopedic & Oncology Focus | Night Shift | Exeter, NH
This 13-week travel contract supports a medical/surgical unit with a specialized focus on orthopedic and oncology patient populations. The unit provides general inpatient care for adult M/S patients with an average length of stay of 3–4 days.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)
- Biweekly orientation schedule
- No float required
Patient Population & Acuity
- Adult medical/surgical patients
- Specialized focus on orthopedic and oncology care
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratios of 5–6:1
Required Qualifications
- Active New Hampshire or compact RN license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Orthopedic nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
- Must have at least 6 months separation from any prior employment at this facility to be considered
