Medical Management Unit (MMU) — Med/Surg Telemetry | Night Shift

Burlington, MA | 13-Week Contract

This Medical Management Unit position offers a focused, lower-acuity environment caring for medical/surgical telemetry patients. The unit operates at a steady pace, making it well-suited for nurses who value a consistent assignment without float requirements.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No float required

Unit Overview

• Small, close-knit medical/surgical telemetry unit
• Lower-acuity patient population compared to higher-intensity departments
• Shift staffing includes nurses and nursing assistant support
• Patient population: medical/surgical and telemetry monitoring

Requirements

• Active RN license in Massachusetts (or compact equivalent)
• BLS certification required
• Telemetry competency test administered on day one — pass/fail; failure may result in assignment termination
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry experience preferred
• Candidates must have been separated from any role within the affiliated health system for at least 6 months (permanent, per diem, or travel) prior to start
