ICU Registered Nurse — Night Shift | Burlington, MA
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks | Start: October 5, 2026
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour nights
- Schedule: Every other weekend required
- Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)
The Role
This ICU travel position supports a high-acuity critical care unit. Nurses will float as needed between the ICU and PCU. The unit manages complex, critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- ASN minimum; 2–5 years of ICU experience required
- High-acuity trauma experience strongly preferred; candidates with significant experience in trauma-level II settings will be considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation required
Testing & Onboarding
- Relias testing required during onboarding
- Telemetry competency test administered on day one — pass/fail; failure may result in assignment termination
- Additional skills assessment on day one at the facility

- Non-local candidates only; the facility is not accepting applicants from the immediate area
- Candidates who have worked at this facility (permanent, per diem, or travel) must have a separation period of at least 6 months prior to consideration
