Telemetry Nurse – 12-Hour Day Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced telemetry nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac patients and managing their ongoing clinical needs.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly
- Float to other units as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of telemetry experience
- 1+ year of travel nursing experience
- Massachusetts RN license (required at time of submission)
- ACLS, BLS (AHA), and TNCC certifications
- PALS or ENPC (equivalency accepted)
- Current flu vaccination (declinations not accepted)
- Minimum 6-month separation from previous role (permanent, per diem, or contract)
Important Notes
A telemetry competency test will be administered on your first day and must be passed; failure may result in assignment termination. Study materials will be provided upon assignment confirmation. Biweekly orientation is included.
