Surgical Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced OR nurse for a 13-week night contract in a high-acuity surgical environment. You'll work 12-hour nights (7 PM – 7 AM) with no call requirements, guaranteed 72 hours biweekly.
Your Role
You'll scrub and/or circulate across a broad surgical scope in a busy trauma-focused OR. Case types include kidney and liver transplants, neurosurgery, spine, orthopedic trauma, robotic procedures, general surgery, ENT, bariatric, plastic reconstruction, urology, and GYN. This role requires strong foundational skills and the ability to move fluidly between specialties.
Required Experience
- Demonstrated experience in kidney transplant, neuro, spine, orthopedic trauma, and robotics (required)
- Proficiency scrubbing and/or circulating in general surgery, transplants, trauma, and organ procurement
- Current BLS certification
- Flu vaccination required prior to start
Key Details
- Start: Early October 2026 (4 weeks for compliance processing)
- Orientation: Weekly, starting Mondays
- Relocation requirement: Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- No float requirement
- Parking: Approximately $5/night
