Emergency Department RN – 12-Hour Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN for 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This is a 42-week contract with guaranteed hours. Scheduling flexibility is available: work 36 or 48 hours per week based on department needs.

About the Unit

The ED handles approximately 33,000 patient visits annually across multiple care areas: main emergency department, minor care/fast track, minor emergency care unit, , critical care, and trauma services. You'll work in a fast-paced, acuity-varied environment managing everything from urgent-care patients to critical and trauma cases.

Requirements

  • Current RN license (NH or compact state)
  • Minimum 2+ years of emergency nursing experience
  • At least one completed travel assignment
  • BLS, ACLS (AHA), TNCC, and PALS certifications required
  • No floating required
  • Must be separated from the facility for 6+ months if previously employed there
  • Clear all requirements by the Wednesday prior to your start date
