ER RN – 12-Hour Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department seeks an experienced RN for a 12-hour night shift assignment. You'll work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment managing trauma and medical emergencies requiring immediate intervention.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Every other weekend rotation
- Two holiday shifts annually
- Contract guarantee: 72 hours biweekly
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- No float required
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of emergency nursing experience (non-negotiable)
- Current or very recent training and experience
- Level 1 trauma center experience
- Electronic health record proficiency
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC or PALS/ENPC equivalency
- Current MA license
- Must be separated from previous employer for 6 months
About the Unit
The Emergency Department features a modern, spacious environment with 44 treatment beds. The unit manages trauma cases and acute medical emergencies. Clinical areas include a dedicated fast-track section, imaging suite, and behavioral health suite to support comprehensive emergency care.
