Emergency Department Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week night shift contract. You'll work as part of a dynamic team providing acute care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (excluding on-call)
• Biweekly orientation dates available

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts nursing license (required at submission)
• 2+ years of emergency nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Ability to read cardiac strips independently
• Proficiency with the facility's EHR system
• Willingness to float to partner facilities as needed

Onboarding

• Day one competency assessment (pass/fail, one attempt)
• Two attempts to pass clinical readiness testing during onboarding; two failures result in contract cancellation
